The Lord and His very confidential devotees are treated on the same level by those who are actually engaged in the loving service of the Lord. Such confidential devotees of the Lord are very much dear to the Lord because such devotees travel everywhere to preach the glories of the Lord in different capacities and try utmost to convert the non-devotees of the Lord into devotees in order to bring them on the platform of sanity. Actually no living being can be a nondevotee of the Lord on account of his constitutional position but when one becomes a nondevotee or non believer it is to be understood that the person concerned is not in the sound condition of life. The confidential devotees of the Lord treat such illusioned living beings and therefore they are most pleasing in the eyes of the Lord. The Lord says in the Bhagwat Geeta that nobody is dearer to Him except one who actually preaches the glories of the Lord to convert the non-believer and non-devotees. Such personalities like Narada must be offered all due respects like that of the personality of Godhead Himself and Maharaj Yudhisthir along with his noble brothers were competent examples for others in the matter of receiving a pure devotee of the Lord like Narada who had no other business save and except singing the glories of the Lord along with the Tumburu a musical instrument of strings. #/div# #/div# please wait#div class="mw-parser-output"##p class="mw-empty-elt"# #h4##span class="mw-headline" id="TEXT_38"#TEXT 38#/span##/h4# #div class="verse"# #dl##dd#athājagāma bhagavān#/dd# #dd#nāradaḥ saha-tumburuḥ#/dd# #dd#pratyutthāyābhivādyāha#/dd# #dd#sānujo 'bhyarcayan munim#/dd##/dl# #/div# #h4##span class="mw-headline" id="SYNONYMS"#SYNONYMS#/span##/h4# #div class="synonyms"# #i##a target="_blank" rel="nofollow noreferrer noopener" class="external text" href="//vanipedia.org/wiki/Special:VaniSearch?s=atha&tab=syno_o&ds=1"#atha#/i# — thereafter; #i##a target="_blank" rel="nofollow noreferrer noopener" class="external text" href="//vanipedia.org/wiki/Special:VaniSearch?s=ājagāma&tab=syno_o&ds=1"#ājagāma#/i# — arrived; #i##a target="_blank" rel="nofollow noreferrer noopener" class="external text" href="//vanipedia.org/wiki/Special:VaniSearch?s=bhagavān&tab=syno_o&ds=1"#bhagavān#/i# — the godly personality; #i##a target="_blank" rel="nofollow noreferrer noopener" class="external text" href="//vanipedia.org/wiki/Special:VaniSearch?s=nāradaḥ&tab=syno_o&ds=1"#nāradaḥ#/i# — Nārada; #i##a target="_blank" rel="nofollow noreferrer noopener" class="external text" href="//vanipedia.org/wiki/Special:VaniSearch?s=saha&tab=syno_o&ds=1"#saha-#a target="_blank" rel="nofollow noreferrer noopener" class="external text" href="//vanipedia.org/wiki/Special:VaniSearch?s=tumburuḥ&tab=syno_o&ds=1"#tumburuḥ#/i# — along with his #i#tumburu#/i# (musical instrument); #i##a target="_blank" rel="nofollow noreferrer noopener" class="external text" href="//vanipedia.org/wiki/Special:VaniSearch?s=pratyutthāya&tab=syno_o&ds=1"#pratyutthāya#/i# — having gotten up from their seats; #i##a target="_blank" rel="nofollow noreferrer noopener" class="external text" href="//vanipedia.org/wiki/Special:VaniSearch?s=abhivādya&tab=syno_o&ds=1"#abhivādya#/i# — offering their due obeisances; #i##a target="_blank" rel="nofollow noreferrer noopener" class="external text" href="//vanipedia.org/wiki/Special:VaniSearch?s=āha&tab=syno_o&ds=1"#āha#/i# — said; #i##a target="_blank" rel="nofollow noreferrer noopener" class="external text" href="//vanipedia.org/wiki/Special:VaniSearch?s=sa&tab=syno_o&ds=1"#sa-#a target="_blank" rel="nofollow noreferrer noopener" class="external text" href="//vanipedia.org/wiki/Special:VaniSearch?s=anujaḥ&tab=syno_o&ds=1"#anujaḥ#/i# — along with younger brothers; #i##a target="_blank" rel="nofollow noreferrer noopener" class="external text" href="//vanipedia.org/wiki/Special:VaniSearch?s=abhyarcayan&tab=syno_o&ds=1"#abhyarcayan#/i# — thus while receiving in a proper mood; #i##a target="_blank" rel="nofollow noreferrer noopener" class="external text" href="//vanipedia.org/wiki/Special:VaniSearch?s=munim&tab=syno_o&ds=1"#munim#/i# — the sage. #/div# #h4##span class="mw-headline" id="TRANSLATION"#TRANSLATION#/span##/h4# #div class="translation"# While Sañjaya was thus speaking, Śrī Nārada, the powerful devotee of the Lord, appeared on the scene carrying his tumburu.
