As persons on earth are elevated to higher planets, people in higher planets such as Brahmaloka, Candraloka and Indraloka fall down to earth. The practice of sacrifice called #i#pañcāgni-vidyā#/i#, recommended in the #i#Kaṭha Upaniṣad#/i#, enables one to achieve Brahmaloka, but if, in Brahmaloka, one does not cultivate Kṛṣṇa consciousness, then he must return to earth. When there is devastation of this material universe, Brahmā and his devotees, who are constantly engaged in Kṛṣṇa consciousness, are all transferred to the spiritual universe and to specific spiritual planets according to their desires. #/p# #/div# #/div# please wait#div class="mw-parser-output"# #h4##span class="mw-headline" id="TEXT_16"#TEXT 16#/span##/h4# #div class="devanagari"# #dl##dd#आब्रह्मभुवनाल्लोकाः पुनरावर्तिनोऽर्जुन ।#/dd# #dd#मामुपेत्य तु कौन्तेय पुनर्जन्म न विद्यते ॥१६॥#/dd##/dl# #/div# #div class="verse"# #dl##dd#ā-brahma-bhuvanāl lokāḥ#/dd# #dd#punar āvartino 'rjuna#/dd# #dd#mām upetya tu kaunteya#/dd# #dd#punar janma na vidyate#/dd##/dl# #/div# #h4##span class="mw-headline" id="SYNONYMS"#SYNONYMS#/span##/h4# #div class="synonyms"# #p##i#ā-#a target="_blank" rel="nofollow noreferrer noopener" class="external text" href="//vanipedia.org/wiki/Special:VaniSearch?s=brahma&tab=syno_o&ds=1"#brahma-#a target="_blank" rel="nofollow noreferrer noopener" class="external text" href="//vanipedia.org/wiki/Special:VaniSearch?s=bhuvanāt&tab=syno_o&ds=1"#bhuvanāt#/i# — up to the Brahmaloka planet; #i##a target="_blank" rel="nofollow noreferrer noopener" class="external text" href="//vanipedia.org/wiki/Special:VaniSearch?s=lokāḥ&tab=syno_o&ds=1"#lokāḥ#/i# — the planetary systems; #i##a target="_blank" rel="nofollow noreferrer noopener" class="external text" href="//vanipedia.org/wiki/Special:VaniSearch?s=punaḥ&tab=syno_o&ds=1"#punaḥ#/i# — again; #i##a target="_blank" rel="nofollow noreferrer noopener" class="external text" href="//vanipedia.org/wiki/Special:VaniSearch?s=āvartinaḥ&tab=syno_o&ds=1"#āvartinaḥ#/i# — returning; #i##a target="_blank" rel="nofollow noreferrer noopener" class="external text" href="//vanipedia.org/wiki/Special:VaniSearch?s=arjuna&tab=syno_o&ds=1"#arjuna#/i# — O Arjuna; #i##a target="_blank" rel="nofollow noreferrer noopener" class="external text" href="//vanipedia.org/wiki/Special:VaniSearch?s=mām&tab=syno_o&ds=1"#mām#/i# — unto Me; #i##a target="_blank" rel="nofollow noreferrer noopener" class="external text" href="//vanipedia.org/wiki/Special:VaniSearch?s=upetya&tab=syno_o&ds=1"#upetya#/i# — arriving; #i##a target="_blank" rel="nofollow noreferrer noopener" class="external text" href="//vanipedia.org/wiki/Special:VaniSearch?s=tu&tab=syno_o&ds=1"#tu#/i# — but; #i##a target="_blank" rel="nofollow noreferrer noopener" class="external text" href="//vanipedia.org/wiki/Special:VaniSearch?s=kaunteya&tab=syno_o&ds=1"#kaunteya#/i# — O son of Kuntī; #i##a target="_blank" rel="nofollow noreferrer noopener" class="external text" href="//vanipedia.org/wiki/Special:VaniSearch?s=punaḥ&tab=syno_o&ds=1"#punaḥ #a target="_blank" rel="nofollow noreferrer noopener" class="external text" href="//vanipedia.org/wiki/Special:VaniSearch?s=janma&tab=syno_o&ds=1"#janma#/i# — rebirth; #i##a target="_blank" rel="nofollow noreferrer noopener" class="external text" href="//vanipedia.org/wiki/Special:VaniSearch?s=na&tab=syno_o&ds=1"#na#/i# — never; #i##a target="_blank" rel="nofollow noreferrer noopener" class="external text" href="//vanipedia.org/wiki/Special:VaniSearch?s=vidyate&tab=syno_o&ds=1"#vidyate#/i# — takes place. #/p# #/div# #h4##span class="mw-headline" id="TRANSLATION"#TRANSLATION#/span##/h4# #div class="translation"# #p#From the highest planet in the material world down to the lowest, all are places of misery wherein repeated birth and death take place.
