Bhagwat Dharma is purely devotional service of the Lord in which the monist has no access. The monist is not counted amongst the Paramhansas (the most perfect of the renouneed order of life). Shrimad Bhagwat is full of narration of the transcedental activities of the Personality of Godhead. Although Vyasdeva was empowered Divinity still he felt inferior complex because in none of his works the transcendental activities of the Lord was properly explained. The inspiration was infused by Sri Krishna directly in the heart of Vyasdeva and thus he felt vacuum as above explained. It is definitely expressed herewith that without transcendental loving service of the Lord, everything is void; but in the transcendental service of the Lord everything is tangible without any separate attempt for fruitive work or emperic philosophical speculation. #/div# #/div# please wait#div class="mw-parser-output"##p class="mw-empty-elt"# #h4##span class="mw-headline" id="TEXT_31"#TEXT 31#/span##/h4# #div class="verse"# #dl##dd#kiṁ vā bhāgavatā dharmā#/dd# #dd#na prāyeṇa nirūpitāḥ#/dd# #dd#priyāḥ paramahaṁsānāṁ#/dd# #dd#ta eva hy acyuta-priyāḥ#/dd##/dl# #/div# #h4##span class="mw-headline" id="SYNONYMS"#SYNONYMS#/span##/h4# #div class="synonyms"# #i##a target="_blank" rel="nofollow noreferrer noopener" class="external text" href="//vanipedia.org/wiki/Special:VaniSearch?s=kim&tab=syno_o&ds=1"#kim #a target="_blank" rel="nofollow noreferrer noopener" class="external text" href="//vanipedia.org/wiki/Special:VaniSearch?s=vā&tab=syno_o&ds=1"#vā#/i# — or; #i##a target="_blank" rel="nofollow noreferrer noopener" class="external text" href="//vanipedia.org/wiki/Special:VaniSearch?s=bhāgavatāḥ&tab=syno_o&ds=1"#bhāgavatāḥ #a target="_blank" rel="nofollow noreferrer noopener" class="external text" href="//vanipedia.org/wiki/Special:VaniSearch?s=dharmāḥ&tab=syno_o&ds=1"#dharmāḥ#/i# — devotional activities of the living beings; #i##a target="_blank" rel="nofollow noreferrer noopener" class="external text" href="//vanipedia.org/wiki/Special:VaniSearch?s=na&tab=syno_o&ds=1"#na#/i# — not; #i##a target="_blank" rel="nofollow noreferrer noopener" class="external text" href="//vanipedia.org/wiki/Special:VaniSearch?s=prāyeṇa&tab=syno_o&ds=1"#prāyeṇa#/i# — almost; #i##a target="_blank" rel="nofollow noreferrer noopener" class="external text" href="//vanipedia.org/wiki/Special:VaniSearch?s=nirūpitāḥ&tab=syno_o&ds=1"#nirūpitāḥ#/i# — directed; #i##a target="_blank" rel="nofollow noreferrer noopener" class="external text" href="//vanipedia.org/wiki/Special:VaniSearch?s=priyāḥ&tab=syno_o&ds=1"#priyāḥ#/i# — dear; #i##a target="_blank" rel="nofollow noreferrer noopener" class="external text" href="//vanipedia.org/wiki/Special:VaniSearch?s=paramahaṁsānām&tab=syno_o&ds=1"#paramahaṁsānām#/i# — of the perfect beings; #i##a target="_blank" rel="nofollow noreferrer noopener" class="external text" href="//vanipedia.org/wiki/Special:VaniSearch?s=te&tab=syno_o&ds=1"#te #a target="_blank" rel="nofollow noreferrer noopener" class="external text" href="//vanipedia.org/wiki/Special:VaniSearch?s=eva&tab=syno_o&ds=1"#eva#/i# — that also; #i##a target="_blank" rel="nofollow noreferrer noopener" class="external text" href="//vanipedia.org/wiki/Special:VaniSearch?s=hi&tab=syno_o&ds=1"#hi#/i# — certainly; #i##a target="_blank" rel="nofollow noreferrer noopener" class="external text" href="//vanipedia.org/wiki/Special:VaniSearch?s=acyuta&tab=syno_o&ds=1"#acyuta#/i# — the infallible; #i##a target="_blank" rel="nofollow noreferrer noopener" class="external text" href="//vanipedia.org/wiki/Special:VaniSearch?s=priyāḥ&tab=syno_o&ds=1"#priyāḥ#/i# — attractive. #/div# #h4##span class="mw-headline" id="TRANSLATION"#TRANSLATION#/span##/h4# #div class="translation"# This may be because I did not specifically point out the devotional service of the Lord, which is dear both to perfect beings and to the infallible Lord. #/div# #h4##span class="mw-headline" id="PURPORT"#PURPORT#/span##/h4# #div class="purport"# The dissatisfaction which was being felt by Śrīla Vyāsadeva is expressed herein in his own words. This was felt for the normal condition of the living being in the devotional service of the Lord. Unless one is fixed in the normal condition of service, neither the Lord nor the living being can become fully satisfied. This defect was felt by him when Nārada Muni, his spiritual master, reached him. It is described as follows. #/div# #/div#
