All great devotees of the Lord all over the universe and in different planets and species of life are His disciples. Srila Vyasadeva the compiler of the Srimad Bhagwatam is also one of His disciples. He is the author of #b#Narada Pancharatra#/b# which is the exposition of the Vedas particularly for devotional service of the Lord. This Narada Pancharstra trains the Karmis or the fruitive workers to achieve liberation from the bondage of fruitive work. The conditioned souls are mostly attracted by the fruitive work because they want to enjoy life by the sweat of their own brow. The whole universe is full of fruitive workers in all species of life. The fruitive works include all kinds of economic development plans. But the law of nature provides that every action has its resultant reaction and the performer of the work is bound up by such reactions good or bad. The reaction of good work is comparatively material prosperity, whereas the reaction of bad work is comparatively material distress. But material conditions either in so called happiness or in so called distress, all are meant factually for distresses only at the ultimate issue. Foolish materialists have no information how to obtain eternal happiness in unconditional state. Sri Narada Panchratra gives treatment to these foolish fruitive workers for realising the reality of happiness. He gives direction to the diseased men of the world how one's present engagement can lead one to the path of spiritual emancipation. The physician gives direction to the patient to take treated milk in the form of curd for his sufferings from indigestion due to his taking another milk preparation. So the cause of the disease and the remedy of the disease may be the same thing but it must be treated by the expert physician like Narada to kill the material disease. The Bhagwat Geeta also gives the same solution for serving the Lord by the fruits of one's labour. That will lead one to the path of Naiskarma or liberation. #/div# #/div# please wait#div class="mw-parser-output"##p class="mw-empty-elt"# #h4##span class="mw-headline" id="TEXT_8"#TEXT 8#/span##/h4# #div class="verse"# #dl##dd#tṛtīyam ṛṣi-sargaṁ vai#/dd# #dd#devarṣitvam upetya saḥ#/dd# #dd#tantraṁ sātvatam ācaṣṭa#/dd# #dd#naiṣkarmyaṁ karmaṇāṁ yataḥ#/dd##/dl# #/div# #h4##span class="mw-headline" id="SYNONYMS"#SYNONYMS#/span##/h4# #div class="synonyms"# #i##a target="_blank" rel="nofollow noreferrer noopener" class="external text" href="//vanipedia.org/wiki/Special:VaniSearch?s=tṛtīyam&tab=syno_o&ds=1"#tṛtīyam#/i# — the third one; #i##a target="_blank" rel="nofollow noreferrer noopener" class="external text" href="//vanipedia.org/wiki/Special:VaniSearch?s=ṛṣi&tab=syno_o&ds=1"#ṛṣi-#a target="_blank" rel="nofollow noreferrer noopener" class="external text" href="//vanipedia.org/wiki/Special:VaniSearch?s=sargam&tab=syno_o&ds=1"#sargam#/i# — the millennium of the ṛṣis; #i##a target="_blank" rel="nofollow noreferrer noopener" class="external text" href="//vanipedia.org/wiki/Special:VaniSearch?s=vai&tab=syno_o&ds=1"#vai#/i# — certainly; #i##a target="_blank" rel="nofollow noreferrer noopener" class="external text" href="//vanipedia.org/wiki/Special:VaniSearch?s=devarṣitvam&tab=syno_o&ds=1"#devarṣitvam#/i# — incarnation of the ṛṣi amongst the demigods; #i##a target="_blank" rel="nofollow noreferrer noopener" class="external text" href="//vanipedia.org/wiki/Special:VaniSearch?s=upetya&tab=syno_o&ds=1"#upetya#/i# — having accepted; #i##a target="_blank" rel="nofollow noreferrer noopener" class="external text" href="//vanipedia.org/wiki/Special:VaniSearch?s=saḥ&tab=syno_o&ds=1"#saḥ#/i# — he; #i##a target="_blank" rel="nofollow noreferrer noopener" class="external text" href="//vanipedia.org/wiki/Special:VaniSearch?s=tantram&tab=syno_o&ds=1"#tantram#/i# — exposition of the Vedas; #i##a target="_blank" rel="nofollow noreferrer noopener" class="external text" href="//vanipedia.org/wiki/Special:VaniSearch?s=sātvatam&tab=syno_o&ds=1"#sātvatam#/i# — which is especially meant for devotional service; #i##a target="_blank" rel="nofollow noreferrer noopener" class="external text" href="//vanipedia.org/wiki/Special:VaniSearch?s=ācaṣṭa&tab=syno_o&ds=1"#ācaṣṭa#/i# — collected; #i##a target="_blank" rel="nofollow noreferrer noopener" class="external text" href="//vanipedia.org/wiki/Special:VaniSearch?s=naiṣkarmyam&tab=syno_o&ds=1"#naiṣkarmyam#/i# — nonfruitive; #i##a target="_blank" rel="nofollow noreferrer noopener" class="external text" href="//vanipedia.org/wiki/Special:VaniSearch?s=karmaṇām&tab=syno_o&ds=1"#karmaṇām#/i# — of work; #i##a target="_blank" rel="nofollow noreferrer noopener" class="external text" href="//vanipedia.org/wiki/Special:VaniSearch?s=yataḥ&tab=syno_o&ds=1"#yataḥ#/i# — from which. #/div# #h4##span class="mw-headline" id="TRANSLATION"#TRANSLATION#/span##/h4# #div class="translation"# In the millennium of the ṛṣis, the Personality of Godhead accepted the third empowered incarnation in the form of Devarṣi Nārada, who is a great sage among the demigods.
