Also, the Brahma-sūtra begins with the verse janmādy asya yataḥ: "The Absolute Truth is that from whom everything emanates." (Brahma-sūtra 1.1.2) That Absolute Truth is Kṛṣṇa. In the Bhagavad-gītā (10.8), Kṛṣṇa says, ahaṁ sarvasya prabhavo mattaḥ sarvaṁ pravartate: "I am the source of all spiritual and material worlds. Everything emanates from Me." Therefore Kṛṣṇa is the original Absolute Truth, the Supreme Personality of Godhead. Again, Kṛṣṇa states in the Bhagavad-gītā (9.4), mayā tatam idaṁ sarvaṁ jagad avyakta-mūrtinā: "By Me, in My unmanifested form, this entire universe is pervaded." And as confirmed in the Brahma-saṁhitā (5.37), goloka eva nivasaty akhilātma-bhūtaḥ: "Although the Lord always stays in His abode, Goloka Vṛndāvana, He is still all-pervading." His all-pervasive feature is understood to be impersonal because one does not find the form of the Lord in that all-pervasiveness. Actually, everything is resting on the rays of His bodily effulgence. The Brahma-saṁhitā (5.40) also states: #dl##dd#yasya prabhā prabhavato jagad-aṇḍa-koṭi-#/dd# #dd#koṭiṣv aśeṣa-vasudhādi-vibhūti-bhinnam#/dd##/dl# "Due to the rays of the Lord's bodily effulgence, millions of universes are created, just as planets are created from the sun." #/div# #/div# please wait#div class="mw-parser-output"# #h4##span class="mw-headline" id="TEXT_143"#TEXT 143#/span##/h4# #div class="verse"# #dl##dd#brahma haite janme viśva, brahmete jīvaya#/dd# #dd#sei brahme punarapi haye yāya laya#/dd##/dl# #/div# #h4##span class="mw-headline" id="SYNONYMS"#SYNONYMS#/span##/h4# #div class="synonyms"# #i##a target="_blank" rel="nofollow noreferrer noopener" class="external text" href="//vanipedia.org/wiki/Special:VaniSearch?s=brahma&tab=syno_o&ds=1"#brahma #a target="_blank" rel="nofollow noreferrer noopener" class="external text" href="//vanipedia.org/wiki/Special:VaniSearch?s=haite&tab=syno_o&ds=1"#haite#/i# — from the Supreme Brahman; #i##a target="_blank" rel="nofollow noreferrer noopener" class="external text" href="//vanipedia.org/wiki/Special:VaniSearch?s=janme&tab=syno_o&ds=1"#janme#/i# — emanates; #i##a target="_blank" rel="nofollow noreferrer noopener" class="external text" href="//vanipedia.org/wiki/Special:VaniSearch?s=viśva&tab=syno_o&ds=1"#viśva#/i# — the whole cosmic manifestation; #i##a target="_blank" rel="nofollow noreferrer noopener" class="external text" href="//vanipedia.org/wiki/Special:VaniSearch?s=brahmete&tab=syno_o&ds=1"#brahmete#/i# — in the Absolute Truth; #i##a target="_blank" rel="nofollow noreferrer noopener" class="external text" href="//vanipedia.org/wiki/Special:VaniSearch?s=jīvaya&tab=syno_o&ds=1"#jīvaya#/i# — exists; #i##a target="_blank" rel="nofollow noreferrer noopener" class="external text" href="//vanipedia.org/wiki/Special:VaniSearch?s=sei&tab=syno_o&ds=1"#sei#/i# — that; #i##a target="_blank" rel="nofollow noreferrer noopener" class="external text" href="//vanipedia.org/wiki/Special:VaniSearch?s=brahme&tab=syno_o&ds=1"#brahme#/i# — in the Absolute Truth; #i##a target="_blank" rel="nofollow noreferrer noopener" class="external text" href="//vanipedia.org/wiki/Special:VaniSearch?s=punarapi&tab=syno_o&ds=1"#punarapi#/i# — again; #i##a target="_blank" rel="nofollow noreferrer noopener" class="external text" href="//vanipedia.org/wiki/Special:VaniSearch?s=haye&tab=syno_o&ds=1"#haye#/i# — being; #i##a target="_blank" rel="nofollow noreferrer noopener" class="external text" href="//vanipedia.org/wiki/Special:VaniSearch?s=yāya&tab=syno_o&ds=1"#yāya#/i# — goes; #i##a target="_blank" rel="nofollow noreferrer noopener" class="external text" href="//vanipedia.org/wiki/Special:VaniSearch?s=laya&tab=syno_o&ds=1"#laya#/i# — to annihilation. #/div# #h4##span class="mw-headline" id="TRANSLATION"#TRANSLATION#/span##/h4# #div class="translation"# “Everything in the cosmic manifestation emanates from the Absolute Truth, remains in the Absolute Truth, and after annihilation again enters the Absolute Truth. #/div# #h4##span class="mw-headline" id="PURPORT"#PURPORT#/span##/h4# #div class="purport"# In the #i#Taittirīya Upaniṣad#/i# (3.1) it is said, #i#yato vā imāni bhūtāni jāyante:#/i# “The entire material cosmic manifestation is born of the Supreme Brahman.” Also, the #i#Brahma-sūtra#/i# begins with the verse #i#janmādy asya yataḥ:#/i# (SB 1.1.1) “The Absolute Truth is that from whom everything emanates.” (BS 1.1.2) That Absolute Truth is Kṛṣṇa.
