However, less intelligent persons, without knowing this fact, worship demigods for temporary benefit. Therefore they fall down to material existence and do not achieve the desired goal of life. If, however, anyone has any material desire to be fulfilled, he had better pray for it to the Supreme Lord (although that is not pure devotion), and he will thus achieve the desired result. #/dd##/dl# #/div# #div class="verse"# #dl##dd#ahaṁ hi sarva-yajñānāṁ#/dd# #dd#bhoktā ca prabhur eva ca#/dd# #dd#na tu mām abhijānanti#/dd# #dd#tattvenātaś cyavanti te#/dd##/dl# #/div# #h4##span class="mw-headline" id="SYNONYMS"#SYNONYMS#/span##/h4# #div class="synonyms"# #p##i##a target="_blank" rel="nofollow noreferrer noopener" class="external text" href="//vanipedia.org/wiki/Special:VaniSearch?s=aham&tab=syno_o&ds=1"#aham#/i# — I; #i##a target="_blank" rel="nofollow noreferrer noopener" class="external text" href="//vanipedia.org/wiki/Special:VaniSearch?s=hi&tab=syno_o&ds=1"#hi#/i# — surely; #i##a target="_blank" rel="nofollow noreferrer noopener" class="external text" href="//vanipedia.org/wiki/Special:VaniSearch?s=sarva&tab=syno_o&ds=1"#sarva#/i# — of all; #i##a target="_blank" rel="nofollow noreferrer noopener" class="external text" href="//vanipedia.org/wiki/Special:VaniSearch?s=yajñānām&tab=syno_o&ds=1"#yajñānām#/i# — sacrifices; #i##a target="_blank" rel="nofollow noreferrer noopener" class="external text" href="//vanipedia.org/wiki/Special:VaniSearch?s=bhoktā&tab=syno_o&ds=1"#bhoktā#/i# — the enjoyer; #i##a target="_blank" rel="nofollow noreferrer noopener" class="external text" href="//vanipedia.org/wiki/Special:VaniSearch?s=ca&tab=syno_o&ds=1"#ca#/i# — and; #i##a target="_blank" rel="nofollow noreferrer noopener" class="external text" href="//vanipedia.org/wiki/Special:VaniSearch?s=prabhuḥ&tab=syno_o&ds=1"#prabhuḥ#/i# — the Lord; #i##a target="_blank" rel="nofollow noreferrer noopener" class="external text" href="//vanipedia.org/wiki/Special:VaniSearch?s=eva&tab=syno_o&ds=1"#eva#/i# — also; #i##a target="_blank" rel="nofollow noreferrer noopener" class="external text" href="//vanipedia.org/wiki/Special:VaniSearch?s=ca&tab=syno_o&ds=1"#ca#/i# — and; #i##a target="_blank" rel="nofollow noreferrer noopener" class="external text" href="//vanipedia.org/wiki/Special:VaniSearch?s=na&tab=syno_o&ds=1"#na#/i# — not; #i##a target="_blank" rel="nofollow noreferrer noopener" class="external text" href="//vanipedia.org/wiki/Special:VaniSearch?s=tu&tab=syno_o&ds=1"#tu#/i# — but; #i##a target="_blank" rel="nofollow noreferrer noopener" class="external text" href="//vanipedia.org/wiki/Special:VaniSearch?s=mām&tab=syno_o&ds=1"#mām#/i# — Me; #i##a target="_blank" rel="nofollow noreferrer noopener" class="external text" href="//vanipedia.org/wiki/Special:VaniSearch?s=abhijānanti&tab=syno_o&ds=1"#abhijānanti#/i# — they know; #i##a target="_blank" rel="nofollow noreferrer noopener" class="external text" href="//vanipedia.org/wiki/Special:VaniSearch?s=tattvena&tab=syno_o&ds=1"#tattvena#/i# — in reality; #i##a target="_blank" rel="nofollow noreferrer noopener" class="external text" href="//vanipedia.org/wiki/Special:VaniSearch?s=ataḥ&tab=syno_o&ds=1"#ataḥ#/i# — therefore; #i##a target="_blank" rel="nofollow noreferrer noopener" class="external text" href="//vanipedia.org/wiki/Special:VaniSearch?s=cyavanti&tab=syno_o&ds=1"#cyavanti#/i# — fall down; #i##a target="_blank" rel="nofollow noreferrer noopener" class="external text" href="//vanipedia.org/wiki/Special:VaniSearch?s=te&tab=syno_o&ds=1"#te#/i# — they. #/p# #/div# #h4##span class="mw-headline" id="TRANSLATION"#TRANSLATION#/span##/h4# #div class="translation"# #p#I am the only enjoyer and master of all sacrifices.
