He forgot that the Supreme Personality of Godhead was present there, instructing him to fight. That is the forgetfulness of the conditioned soul. The Supreme Personality gives directions as to what is good and what is bad, and one simply has to act in Kṛṣṇa consciousness to attain the perfection of life. No one can ascertain his destiny as the Supreme Lord can; therefore the best course is to take direction from the Supreme Lord and act. No one should neglect the order of the Supreme Personality of Godhead or the order of the spiritual master who is the representative of God. One should act unhesitatingly to execute the order of the Supreme Personality of Godhead—that will keep him safe under all circumstances. #/p# #/div# #/div# please wait#div class="mw-parser-output"# #h4##span class="mw-headline" id="TEXT_59"#TEXT 59#/span##/h4# #div class="devanagari"# #dl##dd#यदहंकारमाश्रित्य न योत्स्य इति मन्यसे ।#/dd# #dd#मिथ्यैष व्यवसायस्ते प्रकृतिस्त्वां नियोक्ष्यति ॥५९॥#/dd##/dl# #/div# #div class="verse"# #dl##dd#yad ahaṅkāram āśritya#/dd# #dd#na yotsya iti manyase#/dd# #dd#mithyaiṣa vyavasāyas te#/dd# #dd#prakṛtis tvāṁ niyokṣyati#/dd##/dl# #/div# #h4##span class="mw-headline" id="SYNONYMS"#SYNONYMS#/span##/h4# #div class="synonyms"# #p##i##a target="_blank" rel="nofollow noreferrer noopener" class="external text" href="//vanipedia.org/wiki/Special:VaniSearch?s=yat&tab=syno_o&ds=1"#yat#/i# — if; #i##a target="_blank" rel="nofollow noreferrer noopener" class="external text" href="//vanipedia.org/wiki/Special:VaniSearch?s=ahaṅkāram&tab=syno_o&ds=1"#ahaṅkāram#/i# — of false ego; #i##a target="_blank" rel="nofollow noreferrer noopener" class="external text" href="//vanipedia.org/wiki/Special:VaniSearch?s=āśritya&tab=syno_o&ds=1"#āśritya#/i# — taking shelter; #i##a target="_blank" rel="nofollow noreferrer noopener" class="external text" href="//vanipedia.org/wiki/Special:VaniSearch?s=na&tab=syno_o&ds=1"#na #a target="_blank" rel="nofollow noreferrer noopener" class="external text" href="//vanipedia.org/wiki/Special:VaniSearch?s=yotsye&tab=syno_o&ds=1"#yotsye#/i# — I shall not fight; #i##a target="_blank" rel="nofollow noreferrer noopener" class="external text" href="//vanipedia.org/wiki/Special:VaniSearch?s=iti&tab=syno_o&ds=1"#iti#/i# — thus; #i##a target="_blank" rel="nofollow noreferrer noopener" class="external text" href="//vanipedia.org/wiki/Special:VaniSearch?s=manyase&tab=syno_o&ds=1"#manyase#/i# — you think; #i##a target="_blank" rel="nofollow noreferrer noopener" class="external text" href="//vanipedia.org/wiki/Special:VaniSearch?s=mithyā&tab=syno_o&ds=1"#mithyā #a target="_blank" rel="nofollow noreferrer noopener" class="external text" href="//vanipedia.org/wiki/Special:VaniSearch?s=eṣaḥ&tab=syno_o&ds=1"#eṣaḥ#/i# — this is all false; #i##a target="_blank" rel="nofollow noreferrer noopener" class="external text" href="//vanipedia.org/wiki/Special:VaniSearch?s=vyavasāyaḥ&tab=syno_o&ds=1"#vyavasāyaḥ#/i# — determination; #i##a target="_blank" rel="nofollow noreferrer noopener" class="external text" href="//vanipedia.org/wiki/Special:VaniSearch?s=te&tab=syno_o&ds=1"#te#/i# — your; #i##a target="_blank" rel="nofollow noreferrer noopener" class="external text" href="//vanipedia.org/wiki/Special:VaniSearch?s=prakṛtiḥ&tab=syno_o&ds=1"#prakṛtiḥ#/i# — material nature; #i##a target="_blank" rel="nofollow noreferrer noopener" class="external text" href="//vanipedia.org/wiki/Special:VaniSearch?s=tvām&tab=syno_o&ds=1"#tvām#/i# — you; #i##a target="_blank" rel="nofollow noreferrer noopener" class="external text" href="//vanipedia.org/wiki/Special:VaniSearch?s=niyokṣyati&tab=syno_o&ds=1"#niyokṣyati#/i# — will engage. #/p# #/div# #h4##span class="mw-headline" id="TRANSLATION"#TRANSLATION#/span##/h4# #div class="translation"# #p#If you do not act according to My direction and do not fight, then you will be falsely directed.
