The foolish cannot understand this great freedom from all anxiety. For one who acts in Kṛṣṇa consciousness, Lord Kṛṣṇa becomes the most intimate friend. He always looks after His friend's comfort, and He gives Himself to His friend, who is so devotedly engaged working twenty-four hours a day to please the Lord. Therefore, no one should be carried away by the false ego of the bodily concept of life. One should not falsely think himself independant of the laws of material nature or free to act. He is already under strict material laws. But, as soon as he acts in Kṛṣṇa consciousness, he is liberated, free from the material perplexities. One should note very carefully that one who is not active in Kṛṣṇa consciousness is losing himself in the material whirlpool, in the ocean of birth and death. No conditioned soul actually knows what is to be done and what is not to be done, but a person who acts in Kṛṣṇa consciousness is free to act because everything is prompted by Kṛṣṇa from within and confirmed by the spiritual master. #/p# #/div# #/div# please wait#div class="mw-parser-output"# #h4##span class="mw-headline" id="TEXT_58"#TEXT 58#/span##/h4# #div class="devanagari"# #dl##dd#मच्चित्तः सर्वदुर्गाणि मत्प्रसादात्तरिष्यसि ।#/dd# #dd#अथ चेत्त्वमहंकारान्न श्रोष्यसि विनङ्क्ष्यसि ॥५८॥#/dd##/dl# #/div# #div class="verse"# #dl##dd#mac-cittaḥ sarva-durgāṇi#/dd# #dd#mat-prasādāt tariṣyasi#/dd# #dd#atha cet tvam ahaṅkārān#/dd# #dd#na śroṣyasi vinaṅkṣyasi#/dd##/dl# #/div# #h4##span class="mw-headline" id="SYNONYMS"#SYNONYMS#/span##/h4# #div class="synonyms"# #p##i##a target="_blank" rel="nofollow noreferrer noopener" class="external text" href="//vanipedia.org/wiki/Special:VaniSearch?s=mat&tab=syno_o&ds=1"#mat#/i# — of Me; #i##a target="_blank" rel="nofollow noreferrer noopener" class="external text" href="//vanipedia.org/wiki/Special:VaniSearch?s=cittaḥ&tab=syno_o&ds=1"#cittaḥ#/i# — being in consciousness; #i##a target="_blank" rel="nofollow noreferrer noopener" class="external text" href="//vanipedia.org/wiki/Special:VaniSearch?s=sarva&tab=syno_o&ds=1"#sarva#/i# — all; #i##a target="_blank" rel="nofollow noreferrer noopener" class="external text" href="//vanipedia.org/wiki/Special:VaniSearch?s=durgāṇi&tab=syno_o&ds=1"#durgāṇi#/i# — impediments; #i##a target="_blank" rel="nofollow noreferrer noopener" class="external text" href="//vanipedia.org/wiki/Special:VaniSearch?s=mat&tab=syno_o&ds=1"#mat-#a target="_blank" rel="nofollow noreferrer noopener" class="external text" href="//vanipedia.org/wiki/Special:VaniSearch?s=prasādāt&tab=syno_o&ds=1"#prasādāt#/i# — by My mercy; #i##a target="_blank" rel="nofollow noreferrer noopener" class="external text" href="//vanipedia.org/wiki/Special:VaniSearch?s=tariṣyasi&tab=syno_o&ds=1"#tariṣyasi#/i# — you will overcome; #i##a target="_blank" rel="nofollow noreferrer noopener" class="external text" href="//vanipedia.org/wiki/Special:VaniSearch?s=atha&tab=syno_o&ds=1"#atha#/i# — but; #i##a target="_blank" rel="nofollow noreferrer noopener" class="external text" href="//vanipedia.org/wiki/Special:VaniSearch?s=cet&tab=syno_o&ds=1"#cet#/i# — if; #i##a target="_blank" rel="nofollow noreferrer noopener" class="external text" href="//vanipedia.org/wiki/Special:VaniSearch?s=tvam&tab=syno_o&ds=1"#tvam#/i# — you; #i##a target="_blank" rel="nofollow noreferrer noopener" class="external text" href="//vanipedia.org/wiki/Special:VaniSearch?s=ahaṅkārāt&tab=syno_o&ds=1"#ahaṅkārāt#/i# — by false ego; #i##a target="_blank" rel="nofollow noreferrer noopener" class="external text" href="//vanipedia.org/wiki/Special:VaniSearch?s=na&tab=syno_o&ds=1"#na #a target="_blank" rel="nofollow noreferrer noopener" class="external text" href="//vanipedia.org/wiki/Special:VaniSearch?s=śroṣyasi&tab=syno_o&ds=1"#śroṣyasi#/i# — do not hear; #i##a target="_blank" rel="nofollow noreferrer noopener" class="external text" href="//vanipedia.org/wiki/Special:VaniSearch?s=vinaṅkṣyasi&tab=syno_o&ds=1"#vinaṅkṣyasi#/i# — you will be lost. #/p# #/div# #h4##span class="mw-headline" id="TRANSLATION"#TRANSLATION#/span##/h4# #div class="translation"# #p#If you become conscious of Me, you will pass over all the obstacles of conditioned life by My grace.
