premāveśe kare tāṅre daṇḍa-paraṇāma
aśru, pulaka, kampa, sarvāṅge paḍe ghāma


SYNONYMS

prema-āveśe — in ecstatic love; kare — does; tāṅre — unto him; daṇḍa-paraṇāma — obeisances, falling flat; aśru — tears; pulaka — jubilation; kampa — trembling; sarva-aṅge — all over the body; paḍe — there was; ghāma — perspiration.


TRANSLATION

As soon as Śrī Caitanya Mahāprabhu saw Śrī Raṅga Purī, He immediately offered him obeisances in ecstatic love, falling flat on the ground. The symptoms of transcendental transformation were visible—namely, tears, jubilation, trembling and perspiration.
