eta śuni’ mahāprabhu hāsiyā hāsiyā
kahite lāgilā kichu kājire chuṅiyā


SYNONYMS

etathis; śuni’ — hearing; mahāprabhu — Śrī Caitanya Mahāprabhu; hāsiyā hāsiya — smiling; kahite — to speak; lāgilā — began; kichusomething; kājire — unto the Kazi; chuṅiyātouching.


TRANSLATION

After hearing the Kazi speak so nicely, Śrī Caitanya Mahāprabhu touched him and smilingly spoke as follows.
