Dear Mr. Mokerji,

Please accept my greetings. I have been requested by His Divine Grace A.C. Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada to thank you for your kind letter dated 22nd May, 1977.Unfortunately your earlier letter never reached to His Divine Grace.

As you have probably come to know, Srila Prabhupada fell seriously ill and had to return to Vrndavana from Risikesh. Here in Vrndavana it seemed for some time that he might not remain with us. However now due to the good treatment of a naturopath Gaudiya Vaisnava doctor, Srila Prabhupada is showing signs of recovery and once again we are quite hopeful that he will be able to bless this earth with more years of preaching and mercy. Srila Prabhupada always has such fond thoughts for both you and your family and feels about you as if you were his own son. I am sure that when he returns to Calcutta next time, he will be pleased to fulfill his promised visit. Had Srila Prabhupada’s health been better, he would certainly have answered this letter to you personally. He sends his blessings to both you and all of your family members.

Yours sincerely,

Tamal Krsna Gosvami
Secretary to His Divine Grace
A.C. Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada
