From: Tamal Krishna

My dear Ghanasyama Prabhu,

Please accept my humble obeisances. I have been instructed by His Divine Grace Srila Prabhupada to thank you for your telegram just received. The news of your success in booking nine standing orders in communist Yugoslavia has very much enlivened Srila Prabhupada. Srila Prabhupada said, “It is a great success. This is substantial life.” Srila Prabhupada was referring to the fact that although his body is now ill and can stop functioning at any moment, this preaching work is eternal and therefore Prabhupada refers to it as substantial life. Srila Prabhupada went on to say, “Dust thou art and dust thou wilst become, do not worry about my body but see that this preaching is going on. The communists are intelligent but they are simply misguided. Now it is in your hands, the right hands of the American boys. I am sure therefore it will be successful.”

Kindly go on with this book distribution as it gives Srila Prabhupada great solace and pleasure. His Divine Grace’s health is not at all good now and all of the GBC have recently come and were chanting almost twenty-four hours for Srila Prabhupada. Please pray for his quick recovery.

The BBT Library Party Newsletter for the week of May 23rd to 25th, 1977, along with your letter to Satsvarupa Maharaja, has arrived here the day after Satsvarupa Maharaja has left. I suggest you send a copy of these to him in Los Angeles. Hoping this meets you well.

Your servant,

Tamal Krsna Gosvami
Secretary to Srila Prabhupada
