My dear Arijit Prabhu,

Please accept my obeisances. I beg to thank you for your letter dated 20th March, 1977 which has only now reached me having been forwarded from Sri Dham Mayapur.

Yes, Elsa was already approved for initiation by Srila Prabhupada as were the two devotees for Brahmana initiation, her initiated name is Ila Dasi. The sacred threads duly chanted on by His Divine Grace are enclosed herein and may be given to the two brahmanas after the fire ceremony at which time they may also be allowed to hear the Gayatri mantra from the tape in the right ear.
