6 April, 1977

From: Tamal Krishna

Dear Caru,

Please accept my humble obeisances. All glories to Srila Prabhupada. I beg to acknowledge receipt of your letter dated March 28, 1977. I read your letter to His Divine Grace Srila Prabhupada and he said as follows; “I do not think it is necessary for them to have Rathayatra in LA. We are already holding in San Francisco. Caru’s suggestion is good. Let them celebrate another big festival. There are so many festivals in a year. It is not at all good that the attention of Rathayatra should be divided.”

I am enclosing a copy of a letter from Srila Prabhupada to you dated Feb. 28 as you have requested.

Hoping this meets you well.

Your servant,

Tamal Krishna Goswami

Secretary to Srila Prabhupada
