6 April, 1977

From: Tamal Krishna

My dear Akshayananda Maharaj,

Please accept my humble obeisances at your feet. I beg to acknowledge receipt of your letter dated 29-3-77.

As soon as the manuscript of the Bengali Gita is received I will turn it over to our Bengali chief editor, Sriman Ksirachore Gopinath das Brahmachary who is staying here with Srila Prabhupada. If he and Srila Prabhupada approve we shall surely notify Sriman Santosh Kumar to continue his work.

As you know previously Srila Prabhupada had issued instructions to Bank of America for automatic transfers each month of Rupees one lac for Gurukula construction. Srila Prabhupada wished to know how many such transfers you received and what were the dates of these transfers to Punjab National Bank. I hope this meets you well.

Your servant,

Tamal Krishna Goswami

Secretary
