ALL GLORIES TO SRI GURU AND GOURANGA! KRSNAS TU BHAGAVAN SVAYAM!!!

My Dear GBC Godbrothers,

Please accept my humble obeisances at your feet. All glories to Srila Prabhupada. Recently, while I was in India, there were several disturbances in our Mexico City Temple, which I dealt with upon my early return. Therefore I am enclosing for your investigation and commentary a letter which I have written to Srila Prabhupada, giving a synopsis of what occurred, and how I responded. I had to make decisions which ordinarily should be made in consultation with the Spiritual Master and the GBC, but after reading the letter I think you will see that the urgent and critical nature of the events did not allow any such consultation, especially since Srila Prabhupada and the GBC were at the time traveling in India and virtually unavailable for any discussion.

I would be very happy to hear from you in this regard, and when I receive Srila Prabhupada’s answer, I will distribute that also among the GBC Secretaries. At present it is still dangerous for foreign devotees to visit Mexico.

Hoping this letter finds you in best health, I beg to remain

Your servant,

Hridayananda das Goswami
