While the living entities do enjoy the material conditions the Lord keeps up His transcendental position without being affected by such material atmosphere. In the Vedic literatures (Sruti) it is said that there are two birds in one tree. One of them is eating the fruit of the tree while the other is witnessing the actions. The Witness is the Lord and the fruit eater is the living entity. The fruit eater living entity has forgotten his real identity and is overwhelmed in the fruitive activities of the material conditions but the Lord Parmatma is always full in transcendental knowledge. That is the difference between the Super Soul and the conditioned Soul. The conditioned soul living entity is controlled by the laws of Nature while the Paramtma or the Super Soul is the controller of the material energy. #/div# #/div# please wait#div class="mw-parser-output"##p class="mw-empty-elt"# #h4##span class="mw-headline" id="TEXT_30"#TEXT 30#/span##/h4# #div class="verse"# #dl##dd#sa evedaṁ sasarjāgre#/dd# #dd#bhagavān ātma-māyayā#/dd# #dd#sad-asad-rūpayā cāsau#/dd# #dd#guṇamayāguṇo vibhuḥ#/dd##/dl# #/div# #h4##span class="mw-headline" id="SYNONYMS"#SYNONYMS#/span##/h4# #div class="synonyms"# #i##a target="_blank" rel="nofollow noreferrer noopener" class="external text" href="//vanipedia.org/wiki/Special:VaniSearch?s=saḥ&tab=syno_o&ds=1"#saḥ#/i# — that; #i##a target="_blank" rel="nofollow noreferrer noopener" class="external text" href="//vanipedia.org/wiki/Special:VaniSearch?s=eva&tab=syno_o&ds=1"#eva#/i# — certainly; #i##a target="_blank" rel="nofollow noreferrer noopener" class="external text" href="//vanipedia.org/wiki/Special:VaniSearch?s=idam&tab=syno_o&ds=1"#idam#/i# — this; #i##a target="_blank" rel="nofollow noreferrer noopener" class="external text" href="//vanipedia.org/wiki/Special:VaniSearch?s=sasarja&tab=syno_o&ds=1"#sasarja#/i# — created; #i##a target="_blank" rel="nofollow noreferrer noopener" class="external text" href="//vanipedia.org/wiki/Special:VaniSearch?s=agre&tab=syno_o&ds=1"#agre#/i# — before; #i##a target="_blank" rel="nofollow noreferrer noopener" class="external text" href="//vanipedia.org/wiki/Special:VaniSearch?s=bhagavān&tab=syno_o&ds=1"#bhagavān#/i# — the Personality of Godhead; #i##a target="_blank" rel="nofollow noreferrer noopener" class="external text" href="//vanipedia.org/wiki/Special:VaniSearch?s=ātma&tab=syno_o&ds=1"#ātma-#a target="_blank" rel="nofollow noreferrer noopener" class="external text" href="//vanipedia.org/wiki/Special:VaniSearch?s=māyayā&tab=syno_o&ds=1"#māyayā#/i# — by His personal potency; #i##a target="_blank" rel="nofollow noreferrer noopener" class="external text" href="//vanipedia.org/wiki/Special:VaniSearch?s=sat&tab=syno_o&ds=1"#sat#/i# — the cause; #i##a target="_blank" rel="nofollow noreferrer noopener" class="external text" href="//vanipedia.org/wiki/Special:VaniSearch?s=asat&tab=syno_o&ds=1"#asat#/i# — the effect; #i##a target="_blank" rel="nofollow noreferrer noopener" class="external text" href="//vanipedia.org/wiki/Special:VaniSearch?s=rūpayā&tab=syno_o&ds=1"#rūpayā#/i# — by forms; #i##a target="_blank" rel="nofollow noreferrer noopener" class="external text" href="//vanipedia.org/wiki/Special:VaniSearch?s=ca&tab=syno_o&ds=1"#ca#/i# — and; #i##a target="_blank" rel="nofollow noreferrer noopener" class="external text" href="//vanipedia.org/wiki/Special:VaniSearch?s=asau&tab=syno_o&ds=1"#asau#/i# — the same Lord; #i##a target="_blank" rel="nofollow noreferrer noopener" class="external text" href="//vanipedia.org/wiki/Special:VaniSearch?s=guṇa&tab=syno_o&ds=1"#guṇa-#a target="_blank" rel="nofollow noreferrer noopener" class="external text" href="//vanipedia.org/wiki/Special:VaniSearch?s=maya&tab=syno_o&ds=1"#maya#/i# — in the modes of material nature; #i##a target="_blank" rel="nofollow noreferrer noopener" class="external text" href="//vanipedia.org/wiki/Special:VaniSearch?s=aguṇaḥ&tab=syno_o&ds=1"#aguṇaḥ#/i# — transcendental; #i##a target="_blank" rel="nofollow noreferrer noopener" class="external text" href="//vanipedia.org/wiki/Special:VaniSearch?s=vibhuḥ&tab=syno_o&ds=1"#vibhuḥ#/i# — the Absolute. #/div# #h4##span class="mw-headline" id="TRANSLATION"#TRANSLATION#/span##/h4# #div class="translation"# In the beginning of the material creation, that Absolute Personality of Godhead [Vāsudeva], in His transcendental position, created the energies of cause and effect by His own internal energy. #/div# #h4##span class="mw-headline" id="PURPORT"#PURPORT#/span##/h4# #div class="purport"# The position of the Lord is always transcendental because the causal and effectual energies required for the creation of the material world were also created by Him.
