The end of the Yadu dynasty also does not mean its annihilation but its disappearace along with the Lord's being away from our sight. As Maharaj Yudhisthir decided to prepare for going back to Godhead so also Kunti decided and thus she fully engaged herself in the transcendental devotional service of the Lord which guarantees a passport for going back to Godhead after quitting this present material body. The beginning of devotional service of the Lord is the beginning of spiritualising the present body and thus an unalloyed devotee of the Lord loses all material significance of the present body. The abode of the Lord is not a myth as it is said by the unbelievers or ignorant people but one cannot reach there by any material means like sputnik or others. But one can certainly reach there after leaving this present body and one must prepare himself for going back to Godhead by practising the devotional service. That guarantees a passport of going back to Godhead and Kunti adopted it. #/div# #/div# please wait#div class="mw-parser-output"##p class="mw-empty-elt"# #h4##span class="mw-headline" id="TEXT_33"#TEXT 33#/span##/h4# #div class="verse"# #dl##dd#pṛthāpy anuśrutya dhanañjayoditaṁ#/dd# #dd#nāśaṁ yadūnāṁ bhagavad-gatiṁ ca tām#/dd# #dd#ekānta-bhaktyā bhagavaty adhokṣaje#/dd# #dd#niveśitātmopararāma saṁsṛteḥ#/dd##/dl# #/div# #h4##span class="mw-headline" id="SYNONYMS"#SYNONYMS#/span##/h4# #div class="synonyms"# #i##a target="_blank" rel="nofollow noreferrer noopener" class="external text" href="//vanipedia.org/wiki/Special:VaniSearch?s=pṛthā&tab=syno_o&ds=1"#pṛthā#/i# — Kuntī; #i##a target="_blank" rel="nofollow noreferrer noopener" class="external text" href="//vanipedia.org/wiki/Special:VaniSearch?s=api&tab=syno_o&ds=1"#api#/i# — also; #i##a target="_blank" rel="nofollow noreferrer noopener" class="external text" href="//vanipedia.org/wiki/Special:VaniSearch?s=anuśrutya&tab=syno_o&ds=1"#anuśrutya#/i# — overhearing; #i##a target="_blank" rel="nofollow noreferrer noopener" class="external text" href="//vanipedia.org/wiki/Special:VaniSearch?s=dhanañjaya&tab=syno_o&ds=1"#dhanañjaya#/i# — Arjuna; #i##a target="_blank" rel="nofollow noreferrer noopener" class="external text" href="//vanipedia.org/wiki/Special:VaniSearch?s=uditam&tab=syno_o&ds=1"#uditam#/i# — uttered by; #i##a target="_blank" rel="nofollow noreferrer noopener" class="external text" href="//vanipedia.org/wiki/Special:VaniSearch?s=nāśam&tab=syno_o&ds=1"#nāśam#/i# — end; #i##a target="_blank" rel="nofollow noreferrer noopener" class="external text" href="//vanipedia.org/wiki/Special:VaniSearch?s=yadūnām&tab=syno_o&ds=1"#yadūnām#/i# — of the Yadu dynasty; #i##a target="_blank" rel="nofollow noreferrer noopener" class="external text" href="//vanipedia.org/wiki/Special:VaniSearch?s=bhagavat&tab=syno_o&ds=1"#bhagavat#/i# — of the Personality of Godhead; #i##a target="_blank" rel="nofollow noreferrer noopener" class="external text" href="//vanipedia.org/wiki/Special:VaniSearch?s=gatim&tab=syno_o&ds=1"#gatim#/i# — disappearance; #i##a target="_blank" rel="nofollow noreferrer noopener" class="external text" href="//vanipedia.org/wiki/Special:VaniSearch?s=ca&tab=syno_o&ds=1"#ca#/i# — also; #i##a target="_blank" rel="nofollow noreferrer noopener" class="external text" href="//vanipedia.org/wiki/Special:VaniSearch?s=tām&tab=syno_o&ds=1"#tām#/i# — all those; #i##a target="_blank" rel="nofollow noreferrer noopener" class="external text" href="//vanipedia.org/wiki/Special:VaniSearch?s=eka&tab=syno_o&ds=1"#eka-#a target="_blank" rel="nofollow noreferrer noopener" class="external text" href="//vanipedia.org/wiki/Special:VaniSearch?s=anta&tab=syno_o&ds=1"#anta#/i# — unalloyed; #i##a target="_blank" rel="nofollow noreferrer noopener" class="external text" href="//vanipedia.org/wiki/Special:VaniSearch?s=bhaktyā&tab=syno_o&ds=1"#bhaktyā#/i# — devotion; #i##a target="_blank" rel="nofollow noreferrer noopener" class="external text" href="//vanipedia.org/wiki/Special:VaniSearch?s=bhagavati&tab=syno_o&ds=1"#bhagavati#/i# — unto the Supreme Lord, Śrī Kṛṣṇa; #i##a target="_blank" rel="nofollow noreferrer noopener" class="external text" href="//vanipedia.org/wiki/Special:VaniSearch?s=adhokṣaje&tab=syno_o&ds=1"#adhokṣaje#/i# — transcendence; #i##a target="_blank" rel="nofollow noreferrer noopener" class="external text" href="//vanipedia.org/wiki/Special:VaniSearch?s=niveśita&tab=syno_o&ds=1"#niveśita-#a target="_blank" rel="nofollow noreferrer noopener" class="external text" href="//vanipedia.org/wiki/Special:VaniSearch?s=ātmā&tab=syno_o&ds=1"#ātmā#/i# — with full attention; #i##a target="_blank" rel="nofollow noreferrer noopener" class="external text" href="//vanipedia.org/wiki/Special:VaniSearch?s=upararāma&tab=syno_o&ds=1"#upararāma#/i# — became released from; #i##a target="_blank" rel="nofollow noreferrer noopener" class="external text" href="//vanipedia.org/wiki/Special:VaniSearch?s=saṁsṛteḥ&tab=syno_o&ds=1"#saṁsṛteḥ#/i# — material existence. #/div# #h4##span class="mw-headline" id="TRANSLATION"#TRANSLATION#/span##/h4# #div class="translation"# Kuntī, after overhearing Arjuna's telling of the end of the Yadu dynasty and disappearance of Lord Kṛṣṇa, engaged in the devotional service of the transcendental Personality of Godhead with full attention and thus gained release from the course of material existence. #/div# #h4##span class="mw-headline" id="PURPORT"#PURPORT#/span##/h4# #div class="purport"# The setting of the sun does not mean the end of the sun.
