Although the person in full Kṛṣṇa consciousness may apparently be on the sensual plane, because of his being Kṛṣṇa conscious, he has no attachment to sensual activities. The Kṛṣṇa conscious person is concerned only with the satisfaction of Kṛṣṇa, and nothing else. Therefore he is transcendental to all attachment. If Kṛṣṇa wants, the devotee can do anything which is ordinarily undesirable; and if Kṛṣṇa does not want, he shall not do that which he would have ordinarily done for his own satisfaction. Therefore to act or not to act is within his control because he acts only under the direction of Kṛṣṇa. This consciousness is the causeless mercy of the Lord, which the devotee can achieve in spite of his being attached to the sensual platform. #/p# #/div# #/div# please wait#div class="mw-parser-output"# #h4##span class="mw-headline" id="TEXT_64"#TEXT 64#/span##/h4# #div class="devanagari"# #dl##dd#रागद्वेषविमुक्तैस्तु विषयानिन्द्रियैश्चरन् ।#/dd# #dd#आत्मवश्यैर्विधेयात्मा प्रसादमधिगच्छति ॥६४॥#/dd##/dl# #/div# #div class="verse"# #dl##dd#rāga-dveṣa-vimuktais tu#/dd# #dd#viṣayān indriyaiś caran#/dd# #dd#ātma-vaśyair vidheyātmā#/dd# #dd#prasādam adhigacchati#/dd##/dl# #/div# #h4##span class="mw-headline" id="SYNONYMS"#SYNONYMS#/span##/h4# #div class="synonyms"# #p##i##a target="_blank" rel="nofollow noreferrer noopener" class="external text" href="//vanipedia.org/wiki/Special:VaniSearch?s=rāga&tab=syno_o&ds=1"#rāga#/i# — attachment; #i##a target="_blank" rel="nofollow noreferrer noopener" class="external text" href="//vanipedia.org/wiki/Special:VaniSearch?s=dveṣa&tab=syno_o&ds=1"#dveṣa#/i# — and detachment; #i##a target="_blank" rel="nofollow noreferrer noopener" class="external text" href="//vanipedia.org/wiki/Special:VaniSearch?s=vimuktaiḥ&tab=syno_o&ds=1"#vimuktaiḥ#/i# — by one who has become free from; #i##a target="_blank" rel="nofollow noreferrer noopener" class="external text" href="//vanipedia.org/wiki/Special:VaniSearch?s=tu&tab=syno_o&ds=1"#tu#/i# — but; #i##a target="_blank" rel="nofollow noreferrer noopener" class="external text" href="//vanipedia.org/wiki/Special:VaniSearch?s=viṣayān&tab=syno_o&ds=1"#viṣayān#/i# — sense objects; #i##a target="_blank" rel="nofollow noreferrer noopener" class="external text" href="//vanipedia.org/wiki/Special:VaniSearch?s=indriyaiḥ&tab=syno_o&ds=1"#indriyaiḥ#/i# — by the senses; #i##a target="_blank" rel="nofollow noreferrer noopener" class="external text" href="//vanipedia.org/wiki/Special:VaniSearch?s=caran&tab=syno_o&ds=1"#caran#/i# — acting upon; #i##a target="_blank" rel="nofollow noreferrer noopener" class="external text" href="//vanipedia.org/wiki/Special:VaniSearch?s=ātma&tab=syno_o&ds=1"#ātma-#a target="_blank" rel="nofollow noreferrer noopener" class="external text" href="//vanipedia.org/wiki/Special:VaniSearch?s=vaśyaiḥ&tab=syno_o&ds=1"#vaśyaiḥ#/i# — under one's control; #i##a target="_blank" rel="nofollow noreferrer noopener" class="external text" href="//vanipedia.org/wiki/Special:VaniSearch?s=vidheya&tab=syno_o&ds=1"#vidheya-#a target="_blank" rel="nofollow noreferrer noopener" class="external text" href="//vanipedia.org/wiki/Special:VaniSearch?s=ātmā&tab=syno_o&ds=1"#ātmā#/i# — one who follows regulated freedom; #i##a target="_blank" rel="nofollow noreferrer noopener" class="external text" href="//vanipedia.org/wiki/Special:VaniSearch?s=prasādam&tab=syno_o&ds=1"#prasādam#/i# — the mercy of the Lord; #i##a target="_blank" rel="nofollow noreferrer noopener" class="external text" href="//vanipedia.org/wiki/Special:VaniSearch?s=adhigacchati&tab=syno_o&ds=1"#adhigacchati#/i# — attains. #/p# #/div# #h4##span class="mw-headline" id="TRANSLATION"#TRANSLATION#/span##/h4# #div class="translation"# #p#But a person free from all attachment and aversion and able to control his senses through regulative principles of freedom can obtain the complete mercy of the Lord. #/p# #/div# #h4##span class="mw-headline" id="PURPORT"#PURPORT#/span##/h4# #div class="purport"# #p#It is already explained that one may externally control the senses by some artificial process, but unless the senses are engaged in the transcendental service of the Lord, there is every chance of a fall.
