āji āmi āchilāṅa uṭhāiluṅ prabhure
vṛndāvane ḍubena yadi, ke uṭhābe tāṅre?


SYNONYMS

āji — today; āmi — I; āchilāṅa — was present; uṭhāiluṅ — raised; prabhure — Śrī Caitanya Mahāprabhu; vṛndāvane — in Vṛndāvana; ḍubena yadi — if He drowns; ke uṭhābe tāṅre — who will raise Him.


TRANSLATION

Balabhadra Bhaṭṭācārya said, “Since I was present today, it was possible for me to pull the Lord up. But if He starts to drown at Vṛndāvana, who will help Him?
